PILATES ON THE BALL
ALL LEVELS
ON THE BALL INSTRUCTION
   
 
All pilates on the ball classes are run in courses of 6.

Aims:
• To introduce participants to the benefits of Pilates training whilst adding the many challenge associated with the use of Swiss balls

• To gain an increased level of balance, flexibility, strength and coordination


Objectives:

You will initially feel unstable balancing on the ball, causing your body to utilize core muscles and use them simultaneously.  The focus here is on muscle strengthening and relaxation. Tones both the functional and postural muscles, primarily through the use of Swiss balls. Specially developed to improve balance and stability, the exercise ball is unmatched as a tool for building superb abdominal strength.

In this class you will use the mobility of the exercise ball to target underused muscles, recruiting both deep and superficial abdominal muscle fibres to give rapid results. This class not only builds the abdominal core but will also strengthen and train deep muscles in order to soothe low-back pain and increase overall body strength, balance, and coordination.
